Really? It worked wonders for me. The difference was like night and day. Here's a direct link to my post about the location of that wire on the blue harness. I don't remember clearly anymore if there was only one of those wires but I believe it should be. That one ant wire should connect to the acc wire. --> Link

I would just re-check that connection and the antenna cable to make sure it's correct and also making good contact. Otherwise I would suspect that maybe the antenna amp got damaged some how.

Well, after spending some time with a multi-meter to make sure the splice was good. It turns out it wasnt making a solid connection. So after re-crimping it, it worked fine! Thanks for the help guys.
