I have been searching for someone willing to sell the OEM stereo mounts for a 2005 Scion Xa. I have just recently purchased a car that no longer has the OEM mounts that screw into the vehicle in order to keep the system stable. I have a double din BOSS unit that I really would like to install, but would love to find someone that is willing to part with their stereo mounts!

I am not sure if anyone knows of other scion models that would take the same mounts? It would surely help to broaden my search. I tried the dealer, and obviously they are over priced.

Scion xA In-dash Receiver double din Kit is what you need. Which is designed for different shape and size aftermarket receivers. The mounting bracket covers the "gaps" and anchors your new receiver in your dash.

I would call Crutchfield.com customer service + speak to them + pretend that u wish to purchase to get info. They will get you the right kit for your car about $10 with free ship. You can then decide to buy from them or purchase elsewhere.
