Jon and I redid my connections today. Used T taps and zip ties. No more paper clips in my dash board. lol.

Start there. Sounds like a bunged MAF. (That's the good answer - better than the crippled ECU that it could be.)

My code came up PO112-cam position"A" timing retarded bank 1.
They took it apart and found the timing was fine, then checked the OCV, and ECU and both passed then they found a loose connection by the ECU and fixed that.

Now everything seems OK.

Man or man, I have tested and scanned and read the ecu with several ODBII units and all ponts to a bad MAF Scion dealers wants $160.00 just for the MAF sensor it's ok. thanks to ebay

What do you think of the price I paid?

LOL, it was a great price! shoot, I got the sensor in today took my battery terminals off again! THIS TIME I TOOK THE GROUND OFF FIRST AND THEN THE POWER. lol, wanted to put some corrosian pads on there. The I proceed with the EFI fuse and took off the sensor and replaced it. put the fuse back and it was fixed

I guess I shorted out the MAF sensor while using the ratchet to take the positive terminal off. It arched at the CAI mount on thebattery! I examined it close and saw arch marks on the CAI batter bracket.

I want to thank Bill and Tom for the assist! As always, Tom was there to help
