water inside door??
okay..so i finish wiring the amp to the componets in the front speakers..i tested them and it was awesome..
I had washed the car earlier..after i put the doors back on, i tested the sounds once more..and i heard this nasty screech..it was loud as heck..i opened the door again and noticed that the speaker leads were moist..there were no symptoms of water inside the door or anywhere..i put the speaker on a plastic..when i lifted the speaker up there was water. small drops..where did the water come from?
the speakers still work, at least one that i quickly tested..imma buy a new amp anywayz cuz that amp was overheating and was like 5 years old anyway..
but how did i get water..i noticed that the blue plastic on the door has drops of water, how did they get there and how can i stop that????

a door isnt exactly water proof. that's why there are drain holes in the bottom of the door and that blue plastic vapor barrier.
If water couldn't get in, there'd be no need for that stuff.
