Webasto HotShot
Has anyone seen this?
http://www.webasto-hotshot.com/index_us.php
when i was at wilde toyota/scion a few weeks ago getting my car serviced i saw brochures for it in the scion area. i asked one of the sales guys about it and they had no clue on the pricing and were of no help. which is pretty much what it always is there, they have brochures and lists of prices for stuff but never know anything about the items they sell.
but i was wondering if anyone here has this. it looks like it would be nice to have for winter, since it heats the windshield sprayer water up to 150 degrees. but wouldnt it just freeze quicker when it hit the windshield since hotter water freezes faster?
i also was wondering if any sponsors on here could get a good deal on them.

I wrote out a nice lengthy explanation of superheated vs. room tempature water and how it all works - but then proofed it (and thought, ' god physic's are boring when you have to read it - and really...who actually gives a sh*t?!?')
anyhow... 150F water would turn to ice really no faster or slower than water that's 45F once sprayed onto a windshield.
I could explain why... but really, does anyone care? no. But it's true all the same. once you try it as an experiment, you'll see.
BUT - the warm water WOULD melt any snow, ice, frost on the glass faster than the cool water would. It just wouldn't freeze any slower or faster than regular water.
