Clifford ag5 i dont have price but it will do headlight activation and 1 set of windows up and remote start on a manual tranny plus the starter kill circuit is not bypassable by just unpluging the alarm brain that is probably not good info to put out but if u want to keep ur car pay a good shop to do custom install ur basic 199-300
dollart alram is just a waste of money and remember you do get what u PAY FOR

Up to two miles
Two miles? Where did you get that from, I looked after I asked the question, and the best Clifford matrix only has 1/4 mile range according to the web page...

Doc
I was mistaken on that . You are right 1/4 mile

The AvantGard5 is an excellent system. I installed on last week in a Durango. There is no way around this system unless you rewire all of the ingnition wires back to there factory locations. Just dont forget your Valet code or your system will be usless.

yeah, I carry them, make sure you get the 300 series because, the lower level ones don't have doorlock outputs you will need an adapter. I kick curcuit city's ___ all day long on pricing and you get the same tech support from the DEI hotline. Anyway they are made by DEI which is the one of the most reputable company in mobile electronics.

dont get any of the cop in a box type of alarms for one they have alligator clips that can come off your battery and no real sence of security as far as starter kill and what not -- the scion sec is better than those!!

I agree with chad on the alarm in a can, NEVER buy an alarm that the brain and siren are one unit, The 300 series of the rattler that curcuit city carries has all the features of the 300 series viper or python. Remember it a DEI alarm.

You don't not want compustar. Most of their distributors stopped selling their products. If you like the pager/monitor, there are plenty of products just like it.
