Default What does this Switch do?

I just bought an 04 Scion xA and love it. It took my a couple of days to figure out what the cup holder illumination button did and now that I figured it out I can't stop playing with it.
But there is a rocker switch right by it that I'm not sure what it is supposed to do. It just has 1/0 written on it, but doesn't seem to do anything. The switch is right by the Ill button and the emergency brake.

Any ideas?

There is no input for the ipod that I can see... the 04 didn't have one on the factory stereo... I can take a pic and post later.

The rocker installed in the center console near the shifter should be the under dash lights....

well since you bought it used the previous owner could have had anything wired to it, can you remove the panel its in and see if there are wires attached to it, and then follow when they run to and see what, if anything they are hooked to

lol, this kinda reminds me of the commercial where the guy is trying to figure out what some switch does, so he keeps flipping it on and off, meanwhile the old lady next door is getting her car smashed my her garage door that keeps going up and down.

Which makes me wonder, could it be a garage door opener?

Nope, figure it out... the switch turns the Scion into a robot... don't know how I didn't notice that before...

Actually, still no clue, but I am about to take up the suggestion to follow the wires.

With out seeing a pic of the switch, my only guesses are ejector seats, or release for the trunk monkey.
