Default What is the thread size for Scion shifter *****?

This is turning into a can of worms. I can't find anyone that knows for sure what size the threads are for the ****. I think it's either M10 or M12 size. Also unsure if the thread is 1.25 or 1.50 pitch.
Any help to clear up this is greatly appreciated.

I went on Ebay and looked at all the shift ***** they sell.
One company was selling a shift **** for various model cars including the Scions and mentioned that the Thread was M12x1.25
But the ad was a little vague because it listed all sorts of cars. So either all the makes he mentioned are M12 OR the kit comes with a universal fit kit like most.
I guess, I'll just go to the hardware store.

See what I mean. I don't have a stick so I couldn't try a lug nut.

Here's the shift **** thread size answer from two years ago:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=18173

Since then there have been at least 40 more threads asking the same question - the answer to which could have been found in seconds with a simple search.

That means folks searching for that basic simple answer now get two whole pages of topics to weed through because folks don't search first.

...and now they have another one.

(...and yes, the xA, xB, and tC manual shift ***** all use the same thread - https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34187)
