so i got my wife an amp and speakers for her '06 rs4, and she wants to keep her stock radio. i have the line out converters so that i can use rca inputs on the amp, but i'm going for a clean install.

instead of splicing into the wires behind the harness i was wanting to get some terminals to crimp on the ends of the loc wire, and insert those into the spots on the harness where the speaker + and - normally go.

has anyone done this? anyone know which terminals to get and from where?

Yeah, so you just want to create a junction point? Radioshack should be hooked up with all that stuff, otherwise, Best Buy can definitely help you out too.

yea - trying to completely take the existing speaker wires out of the architecture. wanting to go from the physical plug with a new terminal to the input wire on a scosche loc. trying to leave the existing wires completely intact. that way if we ever sell the car i can take out the system and leave no trace.

apparently there are multiple sizes of terminals, so didn't know if it had been done before and someone had the part numbers for the correct terminals.
