Default Width x Depth x Height for the xB Rear Space?

I'm not the xB target market because I am too old

But, I like the thing; a lot!

I need to carry my MTN bike in the back. I have searched the heck outta the web and can't find any real measurements of the cargo area with the rear seats down.

Can somebody put a tape measure to the cargo area? Lay two MTN bikes in the back (one on top of the other) if I remove the front tires? Could I leave the front tires on?

Many thanks,

how old is too old? there's quite a few members here that are old, even to me ;)

anyways, i think you should be able to, there is alot of room in the xb, especially with the seats down.

I'll see 50 soon (I hope ). Can you put a tape measure to the cargo area of your xB and give me some hard numbers?

Thanks,

I'd still like to hear the measurements.

Anybody?

Is this thing on???

Well, since non of you have a tape measure I decided to go to a dealer and measure for myself. With the seats down, the box is about 50" deep x 45" wide x 33" tall. Tight for a MTN bike, but it could fit.

BTW- I drove the xB while I was there and I was very impressed that an eco car could ride and handle so well. Very impressed.

Count me in.

OK. I pick it up Friday.

Black with 10 spoke covers, iPod dock, rear spoiler, cargo cover, mats, cargo net, armrest, auto trans.... I think that's all.

Pretty basic stuff.

Most bikes can fit in with the front wheel off.
You know you're going to see an XB with a roof rack, and you will want one!
Form another old guy that doesn't fit the demographics!

The only thing I really have to add to this thread is....close to 60, hit 59 in less the three weeks, and become a grandpa for the first time around then too. I have not got a baby seat for the box yet....
