Like the ones on Airplanes? I've been wanting the same thing. The flipdowns they make for the inside are incredibly bulky.

Well, you could remove the LCD and the board from a flip down screen, and then fab a mount for it so that it would be flush.

Those flip down screens are enclosed units, in that they don't assume that you have a spot in the ceiling to protect the screen when flipped up. There's nothing in that base, it's usually just plastic. After taking out the LCD, just use plywood (too heavy?) or fiberglass and make a recess in the shape of the LCD screen... if you know woodworking or glassing, it shouldn't be too onerous, I think.

For the xB, there's a piece of metal running down the middle of the hatch, so there might be a little bit of work involved making it completely flush, but it's wide open to the left and right of that piece - you could probably stick two 10" screens back there.
