I have a radar detector and two neon tubes that connect to the cigrette lighter. How do I hoot them up to an on off switch to I can hide all the wires?

The switch will go inline with either the power or ground wire.

For example take the power wire the runs from your neon tube to your cig lighter. You would cut this wire in half. One side would go to one side of the switch. the other part of the wire would go to the other side of the switch. When the switch is turned on the circuit is closed.

 

oooooooops I just understood what you were talking about. You will have to cut the cig lighter part of the neons and radar detector off and hard wire it to the power/ground of the cig lighter by removing the center dash. Then installing a switch like above.
