I'd like to swap my non-functioning stock cd/radio with an mp3 unit, but kinda stumped. Every media player I've seen are loaded with useless features and are too complex. The local shops haven't been much help, they're surprised when I don't want their sophistication. :-)

Also, the Pioneer unit's sound always bugged me. the presets and car modes sounded weird to me. What's hot for people who like clarity over boom?

 

Well I have the pinoeer DVDH-4000 or something like that and I love it - Its one of the lower model dvd players. Plays DVD or jsut music if you like - Has all the crazy features that your not looking for but you dont have to use them - Very simple to use- good luck
