Default XA gauge replacement???

Does anyone know where you can pick up an indiglo gauge for an 05 XA. Do they come in other colors?

Yes I know how to you the search button, thank you. I also know how to change the color, but that wasn't my question. I asked if anyone knows where to get an actual indiglo gauge, not rig one by coloring the led's, which by the way are burned out on my gauge. Hence the replacement.

uhm.. i don't color the leds, i actually replace them with new ones... no rigging.

as far as an indiglo gauge... don't know of many out there besides bBist's stuff...

unless you want to make your own?

Fair enough. Do you know where to get a replacement gauge? My led's are saudered on the board, are they still able to be replaced?

Yes, SquallLHeart can desolder the old LEDs and solder new brighter ones in your choice of color for a good price. It's cheaper than a new gauge and in my opionion look better than indiglo. I don't think I've seen an indiglo plate for an XA, just the XB.

well.. i do solder work, and i do realize that it takes a little bit of soldering work to do.

if you know how to work with a soldering iron, there are actual different color leds you can replace them with instead of the coloring the white led thing, which you have noted already that doesn't last.

i have seen indiglo gauges for the xA/ist before, though i can't seem to locate any at the moment.
i know at least one (that a friend has), but because of the prolems i've seen with it, i can't really recommend it.. sucks i don't know which one it was at the top of my head...

and yeah.. also, typical replacement items such as those are really pricy.

if you're looking to something just to change up the color, then leds will be more practical. (and you can change whatever lighting on the gauges too as well... including the odo/clock)

The color change would just be icing on the cake. My problem is that the led's don't work so night time drive is a bummer. I shouldn't have asked about the indiglo to begin with so forget that. A replacement gauge would be good at this point. Any leads on that?

I found a place that sells the iniglo gauge for 68 bucks (not that pricey). http://ssuperstore.com/product_info....roducts_id/154 I'm going to order one and see it works out. Thanks for the help (I think) now go back to soldering.

but i dunno why.. but slightly knowing how he wires stuff up sometimes.. he probably ruined it himself... but i dunno for sure really.
