2006 Xa 96Kmiles, no damage,etc. Running/Parking lights will NOT turn off. Been driving with radio fuse removed, and when the parking / headlights are turned on, the radio "flashes" as if it's trying to power up...Could the mufti-function switch (headlight stalk) be to blame?

 

Now that it's dark outside, I've noticed that the parking lights "flutter" (not really a "flash", but more of a random dimming) with the switch in the OFF position. The parking lights get brighter, or fully lit when in the parking light position, and dim (but do not turn off) with the switch off (same with the rear running lights in all cases).

Could this be as stupid as the wrong bulb in a tail light? Pulling the "dome light" fuse under the hood turns out the flickering running lights, but also kills the power to the radio and memory/clock......

 

it does sound like the headlight switch... see if you can find a replacement
