xb cupholder wiring and routing

xb cupholder wiring and routing
so I''ve been trying to figure out how to install the wiring for my cupholder leds on my AUTO xb.
according to the installation guide (for the OEM stuff)...the light kit is powered by a blue connector under the shift ****. there's a slight problem... apparently manual xbs can tap into the blue connector that is already present, but auto xbs need to use a passthrough connection.
I want to be able to draw power from the same point as the oem cupholder led kit would, anyone know any way of doing this... ?

what i did.
piggybacked a fuse from the fuse relay. gave power to the wires for the cup holder.. grounded the wires on different points..
no cutting or splicing the wires.
