Default xB dash dismantle

I've already exhausted the search tool, seen the tC tech thread, and have not found what I'm looking for.

I would like a step by step walk thru on taking apart the xB dash - pics would be a plus. if this is already out there and I just missed it, can you gimme a link? if it's on another website, that'd work too.

thanks.

Its pretty easy. Pull your 2 outer heater control ***** off and take out the 2 screws. Then grab low on the silver pillars and pull. It swings up a little then pull it down. Unplug the heater controls and your set.

thanks custom2k1, but I'm not talking about the center portion... I've taken that off many times. I'm looking for tips/ pics/ and instructions for removing the top portion of the dash - from A-pillar to A-pillar.
specifically, I'd like to know if I need to do anything special around the passanger airbag. and which clips to trip first. I have an exploded view of the dash showing all of the clips and internal screws.
I'm adding gauges to the left of the speedo and want to know the best way to get to the back of the future gauges... reach up under the dash/ go in thru the combo meter hole/ take off the top portion of the dash?
any dash/ gauge installers wanna share their advise?
