you don't need to remove the headliner to install those...

just remove the handles themselves.. and then when you put them back in.. you can gently pry down on the headliner area and route the wires inside... i went down the b-pillar (gotta remove that too) and wired it up that way.

Just use a coat hanger etc to hook onto the wires and pull them through so you don't have to remove the headliner.

be careful not to overload the dome light, as that will definately cause som eproblems. I would seriously just consider going to a fuse in the fusebox

If you really want to remove the headliner it's super easy. Remove the oh S%$T handles by popping the covers off the ends and unbolting. Unscrew the visors/visor clamps and remove. The seperate clamps need to pull out after unscrewing as they are help in by a door panel type plug. There's a cover on the base of the rearview mirror that slides off to uncover the screws to remove the mirror. Pop off the front pillars. Unbolt all the seatbelts to pop off the middle and rear pillars. The rear pillars are also held in by the speaker panel. Just have to loosen that panel by unscrewing the allen bolts that have the little pull tab on them. Then you can slide the read pillars up and out. Unscrew the dome lamp and push it through its hole in the headliner. After the headliner is loose all that's left is to put down the back seats and slide it out the hatch.
