Is there a manual that goes with the alarm system?

I did not receive any alarm information in my car information pouch.

Curious how to check out the alarm and make sure it is operating correctly.

Anybody have any information on the radar intrusion portion of the alarm?

The car should have came with a manual how to use it...

ok, you can check the alarm by rolling the windows down... stepping out and locking the doors with your remote. wait maybe a minute and than try waving your arms inside of the vehicle and see if it sets off... it should. You can also unlock the door manually and open the door, that should set it off too.

 

Tried waving my hands inside. The alarm did NOT go off.

 

I finally got around to scanning in the security system manual. Here is a copy of page 7, showing how to test the radar sensor and also how to disable the radar sensor but leave the rest of the alarm system armed (for example when leaving an animal in the car).

After re-reading the manual, I realize I was mistaken in that there is no info on how to adjust the sensitivity. If anyone is interested I can post other pages of the manual.
Of course, mods please let me know if posting scans of the manual breaks any rules.
