Default xB Speedo Problem

Today I noticed that my speedometer needle has dropped way below the 0 mph mark when the car is turned off. Does anyone know how I could fix this?

no i mean even when i turn the car back on it stays down there and increments from there. I'll be going about 45 and the speedo will be at 20.

I don't see a problem! Take it back to the dealership for a warranty repair...

Trade out to the stock speedometer face and take it in to be fixed

ok, if you've taken the speedo needle off (and my understanding of the bbist is that you DO NOT need to take the needle off with the bbist), it may be inaccurate.

you can recalibrate the needle by rotating it manually counterclockwise.

Default spedo

try this. take the needle off replace it with the needle pointing at the fastest speed then slowly go backwards till it reaches zero. this should help. It did for me.

Do you mean rotate it to 120 then go in reverse?

No you don't have to take the needle off for the bbist gauge. The needle has never been taken off.

sorry thought it was original speedo. On that one when you replace the needle you insert it pointing at 120 then rotate it too zero

If the needle hasn't been removed, you must have accidentally bumped it off of zero. To fix it you may have to take off the fuel and tach needles because the speed needle is long enough to swing down and hit them and you don't want broken needles.

Go here http://www.forcespeed.com/XBInstall/XBInstall.htm and follow the instructions near the bottom of the page to get your needles back where they need to be.
