Default Xb tweeter install locations

What are some of the way you guys are mounting your 1" tweet that come's with your component sets. Pics are helpful. Flush mount, Surface. A-pillar?

I mounted mine in the fold down drawer under the ac controls and left the stock ones hooked up as well it really helps with the staging. I will hopefully get some pics up soon. btw I didn't lose the drawer either because I ran the wires along the slides so I can still open and close the drawer with no problems.

Here are some of the pic of the tweeters in my Box. The first pic is of the Components in the front doors



These are pics of the tweeters in the roof, I need to change out the cheep ones out and put some new flush mounts.

I took the factory dash speakers and used a Dremel to cut off the magnet and then install the tweeter in the factory metal bracket. The alpine tweeters had positional mounting cups so I was able to aim the tweeters for best sound. and it still looks like factory...

WOW Toy xbox, Major props on that idea. I have a 3-way component setup though, so I can't use your method since I've got a 4" woofer in that location. But tell me though how your setup sounds, as far as soundstage width and height.

I also have a Alpine center speaker in between the sun visors, and with the Alpine PXA H-700 processor I have a nice front stage from the 5.1 surrond sound and all the other little things that it can do still haven't played with it enough to figure it all out... No head unit all done through my Computer system.
