well today i got after it and jacked it up. the car needed more drop in the front. well i tried something thing different this time, instead of moving the lower perch up, i just drop the top locking perches that hold the spring down. i dropped it another .25-.5 of an inch. and then tightened up all the locking perches top and bottom. this left a gap between the spring and the top of the coilover. after tightening everything up i drove it around my neighborhood, and it made no noises!! ill keep everyone posted and post new pics asap

yeah, i hand tightened them, then took a rubber mallet to it for peace of mind. also, upon driving all day today and last night, the popping and creaking noises are completely gone, but... now im getting a noise that sounds like the spring itself is binding up. but that will be addressed at my earliest convenience
