if you mean the nut from the cusco is not threaded the same as the hks, then it's the same as my easystreet fronts. you need to make a spacer to keep the strut centered and then use the regular nut.

if that isn't the problem, please elaborate.

no, it threads onto there, its hard to explain and i'm not quite sure what the problem is honestly, sounds like one of two things

1) the shaft on the hks is too long for the cusco nut
2) there is nothing holding the spring still on the top

like I said, from what i've heard, there is a way that you have to rig the cusco plate to fit the hks, just not sure what that rig is =(

and from what i've heard, Mark (bboxd) was able to make it fit, also toyxbox (Dave) had them on his HKS setup, but he had the wagon setup, dont' know if that makes a diff. or not =/

yeah, i noticed you have the wagon hks, i have the compacts (so does mark), mine came with a spacer, but it still wouldn't work, my coilovers kept making a clunking noise, i think the shaft on the hks compacts are just too long for the cusco bolt and mount, I called mark yesterday and he said what he had to do was take the top hat of the hks apart and run the bottom of the hks hat through the top of the cuscu hat, but you can't go 5 degrees on the camber, you can only do like 1 degree or so =(

I will be taking my coilovers off in the next couple of days to install the air runner struts I have, I will try and snap some pics of it to see if it will help out. I don't plan on selling them but like they say "Money talks BS walks"

Sorry it took so long to get a follow up pic... the following pic is of the Air Runner strut bag it has the same concept asa the HKS WG I could not get a good pick of the HKS because the dust ring and boot block the view the only real difference between the strut bag and the WG is that the spring plate is different both have the spacer(s) in the same position.

Hope this helps...
