Awesome... so I went to Elmhurst Scion this evening. One of the service guys rode with me and confirmed that the bearing is shot. I told him straight up that there are hub spacers and he said "I don't really think that's gonna be an issue."
He told me that they will take care of it under warranty. Basically, what he said was "I don't mind doing it as a warranty repair, but if it DOES start making noise again after the repair, I don't want you coming back complaining. If the manager gets involved, he's going to wonder why we did it in the first place."
I told him that I just want em to fix it up. After that, I'll be a ghost. They ordered the part and told me not to worry about the $65 diagnostic. The guy who wrote me up said "we'll let you know if the warranty isn't going to cover it, but if Dave said you're cool, you'll be alright."
Sweet deal.

The lights went off today. I scanned with the lights on and it didn't pull any codes. I should be taking it in on Monday. My guess is with the hub going bad, it's throwing off the ABS sensor or something.
