front camber
does the camber plates really work? the one that came with my D2 coilovers works but i don't really notice it. so i was just wondering if other camber plate will give it a box extreme camber or just enough. and slamming the box from zero camber suppose to camber it automaticlly right? but my gets caster and alway wear the outside out. so instead of camber i get caster. so to get a zero camber when i align it. i have to negative camber it i think. is it just me or what?
people that has bought from bbist? how do you buy from them cuz i never before. i checked them out and see that they don't have a checkout, so how will they know what product i want?

i don't think i even got that. i think it went the opposite way. cuz i when dropping it, the wheels will toe out, which will cause inside wear. so i fixed that by getting it align with zero camber on the camber plate. and still i'm getting a a lot of wear. so is my camber plate wrong which i doubt or what?
had that problem too. when i was experimenting. dropping and raising it constanly. toe changes. so i don't want to keep paying for alignments. this also brings up another topic. what you guys think about the DIY alignment kits?
The easiest way to get more camber adjustment is to install a set of "crash bolts". This bolt replaces one of the lower strut bolts (usually the top one) and is more narrow. This allows for some decent camber adjustment. Plus they're cheap. You can get them from most good alignment shops. Some dealerships carry them too.
Negative camber = top of tire leaning in. Good for handling.
Postive camber = top of tire leaning out. Not really good for anything.
Neutral camber = wheel/tire are standing straight up. Good for straight-line braking and acceleration.

When lowered, which way does the top of the tire want to go? In or out. This would help when I put my spring in later. Thanks!

D2 coilovers are weird like that. My car actually had to have the camber plates maxed out to get it back into spec for camber. I have about -1 degree in the front on each side. You can add bolts for adjustment if you want more.
I am installing the KSports this weekend, and one of my biggest questions was the camber settings. I am running the stock wheel with some 215's -- any body wanna ballpark a camber angle for me? Or does anyone have a DIY resource for camber adjustment?
Hotbox, I see you are all about the ksport's -- any ideas?
