I am still waiting for a call back from them.

Yea the letter they sent me mentioned modifications that make the car faster or change the shape of the car. However I still would like to know how they know it is lowered.

I also brought up the fact that "if" it was lowered haha Toyota offers this as an option.

The problem with finding other insurance is also because I have 2 other cars on there as well as my house.

Geico doesn't care whos insuring your house. Switch the 3 vehicles over to Geico and you'll still get your multi vehicle discount.

When Progressive pulled the old "bait and switch" on me with my new bike I said bye bye for good. They quoted me an insurance rate on a new bike I wanted to buy. Then the actual rate ended up being nearly double the original quote once they got the actual vin#. I was PO'd to say the least!

That sucks. Dose any one know about American Family?
You would think that if the part was put on by Toyota or is a Toyota part that they would be ok by it.

Never, ever had a problem with Progressive. And they treat me far better than I ever got treated with Allstate.

My wife is in the insurance business, and has switched from Farmers to Progressive. Same coverage, FAR less money.

Progressive is fine till you have to file a claim.

I went through hell with them all for a repainted hood, from when a golf ball sized rock bounced off the leading edge of the hood.

They would not pay to tint the paint, they used the wrong sales tax rate on parts for the repair, and would not cover it.

Basically instead of my $100 deductible, I had to pay nearly $180, as soon as that was over and done with I ditched them. I switched to Country Companies and have never had a problem.

When I took out a raccoon with my front bumper/lip, they had a check to the body shop within days, and their estimate was higher than the shops, so I didn't even have to pay my deductible. No out of pocket expense (in fact I was going to get $2.31 back, but I told the guy at the shop not to worry about it.)
