so i airshocked the back of the xa...and ordered some 71575 echo struts...anticipating a half inch drop in the front...and guess what? they actually raised my car 1/4 inch!! wtf?? double checked part numbers on boxes...did i miss something???

well on the good side no more blown strut noise and the ride is smooth...but the whole point i went with these was for the drop! damnit!!

 

New struts = higher than worn out ones?
