this is going to be a stupid question, but if you put different size on the back, you can't rotate them can you? Don't radials have to be rotated front to back... not left to right, so that they maintain the same direction? Also, what happens to the ride quality with stretched tires? 205s on an 8" rim would be a pretty minimal stretch, I wouldn't think it would make much difference.

As long as you had uni-directional tires you could just rotate them from side to side and keep the more offset wheels on the back. It would also look better with the deeper dish wheels on the rear.
