Actually the rear shocks have zero to do with the ride height. The front Echo struts tho lower it a half inch.

This thread kinda needs to be stickied cause those part #s may come in handy for people looking to upgrade to new shocks/struts.

X2, I suspect they would be a direct stock replacement but with softer valving than OE.

went to a monroe shop in pa. and the guy said they were special order and told me they would cost $60 each.also shock warehouse out of florida says that # is not available till 08.

NAPA is usually the best place to get/order Monroes from.

Default Rear shocks

Does any one know if Monroe softened the dampening rate on the 5601s to match the ECHO or are they OEM. I would also like to know because I would like the stiffer xB rear shocks to complement the Eibach spings on my ECHO.
