You need to read the posts before you post. Here is one of the 2 links given for a great price on either a TRD or progress bar. TRD bar is 128 ish plus shipping.
http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=1685

The Progress one was 140 shipped

Yea, just buy some heavy steel rebar and weld it right on there.

I'm about to add a trailer hitch to my xB to pull a small trailer with two Vespa scooters, will adding a rear bar help? Also are there any better shocks, than just the factory shocks available for the xB?

The Monroe 5987s soften up the ride. I'd definitely invest in a bar.

I still chuckle at the title of this topic. It's the understatement of the year.

I think the Hotchkiss ones are a matched set of 2. You only need a rear bar cause the front bar is plenty stiff. Look at the TRD or Progress. Both can be had for around 150.

The new Hotchkis rear sway bars are 24mm (which is thicker than Progress and TRD, as they are 22mm).

At TRDsparks, you can order the front+rear set, just the front, or just the rear. The rear costs $128.95.

yeah. i really want the rear sway but i think that's without shipping. if i could get a hold of one for the range of $100-$115 shipped then it's a no-brainer for me.

My Hotchkis 24mm rear sway just showed up from TRDSparks. Now I just need to wait til the next autox even to put it to the test.

It's nice to see that you can purchase the Hotchkis rear bar only. Considering how the front bar is not needed.

Spiderbox, so you removed that 2 inch rock from left to right with yoursetup? I have the hots bar, which helps, but the oh shoot feeling is still there as it will still rock an inch either left or right when banking a corner.

not sure what you mean by rock but when i hit corners hard it feels very stable even when the car is sliding. i still have quite a bit of body lean with the h tech springs though.

Not sure which it is, but that little wiggle it will do when you turn right or left, its a slight movement that does not seem to get worse as you turn harder, so maybe that is body lean?

Spiderbox, if you are going to keep those two rear sway bars I'd recommend the hotchkis front sway bar.

Many people say you don't need to upgrade the front because it's so damn hard to do. If it was easy you'd see people on this forum doing it and if it didn't work well then selling it.

I took the recommendation of this forum at first and did the whiteline rear bar and upgraded the front bushings. After driving for a few months I was still not satisfied so I put in stiffer TRD springs.

Still not satisfied I put in the front Hotchkis bar a few weeks ago and am very pleased with the results. Luckily I have a friend with a shop and he installed it for free for me.

i also have the progress rear bar and hotchkis 1/2" rear bar that I plan on experimenting with a multiple rear bar setup to get the handling level I desire.

goyogi, are you sure? I was reading from another experts post that the front sway bar was only for inducing under steer to make you or an inexperience driver slow down when taking a corner hard and his advise was to remove it.

It took me 2 1/2 hours to install the rear bar in the auto store parking lot, I am all for doing the front too if you are 100% sure it made a real difference. I did feel some with the rear bar, but its still missing some stiffness.
