Ok... so lets say I want to get lowered 1/2 inch in the front AND rear... Is that possible with the Monroe's for the echo... front and back?

If so... part numbers?

The springs hold the car off the ground and the shocks regulate the bouncyness.

The echo struts have a slightly lower spring mount on hte front, or so I have heard. The rear springs and shocks are not interconnected, so short of a shock with a short throw, nothing will lower the rear than spring replacement.

^^^ Right. The echo front struts will give the front a 1/2" rake.

never cut springs i have allways been told not to do that cuz that could f up your stuff but yeah if you want to lower it also tires can lower it to like with the xa stock is 1856015 and they told me at the rack that if i went 1955015 which are the same tire sizes as crxs my friend has it will sit lower by one inch i went inbetween that to 1955515 which i havent noticed any calibration difference and it does set about not even almost a third of an inch i think
