springs?!?
I think it's Tanabe DF210's. They give you an overall drop of 2". Thats pretty good if you are sitting on 18's.There may be someone in here who knows of another spring that will drop you lower. With these you still get a decent ride quality.
I am still rolling with the stock rims and tires but put the Tanabe DF210's on in January. No rubbing at all. I am planning on putting some 18's on later this year. I installed the springs in about 2.5 hours and only needed help to start the bolt on top of the strut. I am really glad that the 2+ inch drop did not scare me off because after installing the springs I would be unhappy with any less of a drop. As long as you are semi-mindful of where you are driving, you should not have any scraping problems either. I actually wish it was a little lower.
Tanabe's DF210 is a great spring for the xB. I installed them on my wife's car and she loves them. Some claim that the HKS SF5 drop lower, but I have never seen a side by side comparison to prove it. The HKS are also quite a bit more expensive.
I also think the old B&G drop springs were lower than the Tanabes. I don't think they sell them with that much drop anymore though.

how wide is your rim and what offset did you get? Like mine is a 18 x 7 with a 38mm offset with 215/35/18 tires. That offset sits my rims right at the edge of the wheel wells so if I hit a big bump it tucks and wont hit the wheel well.
On the wife's xB she is running 18x7.5 with +42 offset. It might have just barely fit without spacers, but we never ran it that way. I installed OTG 10mm hub spacers before we even lowered the car. Absolutley no clearance issues running this set up on Tanabe DF210s.
