the tanabe is 5/3 kg and the tein are 4/2.9kg
I personally like tanabe coilovers. I've used them in the past for my other cars and they have always held up really well.

both are similar in design.
both require you to use the stock upper pillow mounts.

If your in the market give us a ring

I just bought the JIC Magic FLT-A2 coilovers for my xA. I will let you know how they are when I install. My second choice were the Tanabe SUSTEC PRO S-0C, which were tempting during my research.

I have the Tein super street coilovers with the pillow mount on my xb, they are the upgraded version of the basic. The basics you can only adjust the height. With the super street you can actually adjust the hight and the ride comfort (softer or harder). I had the basics on my eclipse gsx and loved it, but if I had the chance to switch to the super street, I would have chosen those.
