Even though the H-Techs don't lower that much, it still makes a world of difference in appearance.

Looks great, the H.Techs clean it up way more than I was expecting.

The ride is about the same, comfortwise. It hasn't gotten harsher, but it isn't noticeably softer either.
However, the handling and stability has improved quite a bit.

The first time I did a spring install myself, I used the tech guide and didn't really run into any issues. The only problem I had personally was getting the nut off the top of the front strut. I ended up going to this dudes house who had air tools. He just zipped it off for me and I was good to go.

Yea, the biggest pain was reassembling the strut with the new spring on it. See if you can rent a spring compressor somewhere, that would help you immensely. Otherwise, it's a pretty straight forward install.

The rear springs are really easy, even if you replace the rear shocks, still easy. Jack up the rear, put on jack stands. Remove wheels. One bolt on the bottom that connects the rear shock to the rear suspension. One bolt on top if replacing the shocks, per side Takes 30 minutes at most .
The front springs are a little harder. Jack up the front, put on jack stands, remove wheels. Two bolts on bottom, three up top per side. The hardest part is getting the nut off the top, I loosened the one up top before dissasembling. I also had spring compressors. Makes life easier. Fronts probably an hour or two, tops.

This is the complete walk through for springs:

^ You don't even need to remove the rear wheels to do the rear springs.

Nope, not at all, makes it easier though...well for me. I did the rear shocks also. The ride is firm, but not bouncey, much more ideal ride than stock. I have the Monroe 5987 Shocks...
