The rear frame brace was purchased off Wraith from here on scionlife. Im not sure if he still has any, but PM him i think he might. Its an excellent part for the price and really helps stiffen the rear end of our cars which is want tends to twist most during cornering. I wish someone would make DECENT strut bars for the rear of our cars.

I'm going to stay away from the ebay special after reading a post about the welds looking questionable after autox'ing on echodrivers.com forums.

So I'm leaning towards the Tanabe brace. I like that it's reinforced internally and in my mind the design of the brace looks stronger. And you can use the stock braces as well. A bit expensive so I think I'll go for some Koni shocks first to quiet down the rear passengers.

I have the Greddy lower braces on my car. Both come in anodized blue & are a three tube design. The front is only a 2 point brace versus the others like gtspec & cusco which come in a 4 point. The rear is not really a rear brace its more of a mid chassis brace. I've felt quite a bit of difference in cornering after i put them on because the chassis is a little bit stiffer now.

you are a little off here....

all the type 1's are 2 point braces.
the rear you mentioned is the type 2 brace, not a rear brace, it is always a 4 point brace.

neither of these stiffen the chassis....
the type one tries to brace the front bolts of the control arms to each other.
the type 2 brace is a replacement for the two bars already there... the only added benifit of the type 2 is, both sides are now joined. again, does not do anything for the chassis.

you do need to push the car very hard through the corners to feel any benifit from these upgrades....the type 2 is what you would feel doing the most good then. it keeps the engine cradle, and front suspention lower parts in place just a little bit better.

I guess i should have elaborated more on what i wrote earlier. The greddy front brace a have is a 2 point brace or type 1 as you have mentioned previously. The type 2 is the brace that has 4 points of connection on the chassis, front lower control arms, which replaces the 2 stock bars that are already in place. Where i was unclear is that when i mentioned the rear, i was mentioning that the greddy rear lower brace is more like mid chassis brace versus an actually lower tie bar like you would find on a honda. There is also a stock bar that you replace as well if you install a mid chassis brace. Hope that cleared up the confusion on what i wrote earlier.

you do not need to push the car very hard to feel the difference with this upgrade. I have the c-one frame brace and the greddy rear arm bar. cant say i feel any difference with the rear since i put the front on a while before the rear but the front frame brace tightens up the handling, reduces body roll, stiffens up the ride a bit but also feels more solid on the rougher pavement. the improvement is as easily noticeable as when you install a rear sway bar.

the rear anti-sway bar (arm bar if you will) is the number one suspension upgrade. it is noticable to just about anybody that can turn the wheel.
it does nothing to stiffen the chassis, but reduces body roll and makes it feel more solid on the road.

the rear sway was not listed in any of the prior mods. they were all braces and not active suspension parts (ie...sways, springs, shocks..)

So the Greddy Front Lower Arm Brace is a 2 point brace?
Does anyone know if they have a 4 point brace available?

I think they do make a four point brace but not for scions.
