About Springtech Springs
I just recently purchased the xB springtech springs and wanted to know if those springs were as good as the other springs out in the market. If anyone has these springs installed their xb/xa, i'd like to hear your guys' reviews. thanx
I think one thing you'll discover with aftermarket springs/suspensions for the Scions is that, in all honesty, almost all of them will be an improvement over the stock setup. I mean, the actual feeling is subjective, and different people will have different tastes, so although a particular setup may be more harsh than another, each person will have a different opinion on how they like the ride. And esp. after having spent their hard-earned $$ on the suspension goodies, most people will also psychologically convince themselves that what they got is great; and that's all that matters really. BUT, the diference in aftermarket suspension parts will come in the longevity. How long will a cheap set of springs, for example, ride well till they start sagging and losing that great ride, etc. In some cases it may be years, in other cases, it might be just a matter of months. It's really a luck of the draw with cheaper parts, and you ultimately do get what you pay for. They're good for now, but maybe not good for long.
i'm getting a set of Goldline Springs installed this wednesday... it's a great price springs...and alot of people have complimented how well the springs are over stock and even over other aftermarket springs such as Tanabe DF210...
they even have a lifetime warranty against "sag"...they're pretty confident about their springs... i'll put them on and post some pix and comments... i'm getting them for $145. They're 2" drop all around... can't wait.
