C2auto problems. Anyone else?
I was just wondering if anyone else was having problems with C2auto.
I sent Jay and email on April 18th letting him know I was a part of ScionLife and asked him if he had any 15x8 501's. He was quick to respond saying he had a set and and he could ship them out. He gave me a price that was $10 over what he stated was the price for SL members but I decided not to argue and just pay it.
He seemed very excited to sell these and was quick to take my money on the 20th. I had not heard anything from him and on the 24th I sent him an email. He explained that he had been busy and was shipping them out that day. He did not ship them until the 26th. Again I gave him the benefit of the doubt and didn't worry about it.
I recieved the rims on April 30th and as soon as they arrived I took the boxes to discount tire. When I got there I opened the box to show the guy what I had and there was no center cap. The guys said some times they are all in one box. So I had discount install them and no center cap.
I emailed Jay this information. I believe it was the same day but I didn't cc it so I don't have a record of it. I emailed him again on May 10th. No response from him. I have called his shop twice and no return call.
I ended up going through another company to order the center cap.
I am very disappointed with Jay and C2auto. I am thankful that I didn't order springs through him with this type of customer service.
I feel bad to resort to posting this information but I have not heard fro Jay and I don't feel others should take their chance with him and his company at this time.
If there is information that I am missing, such as his shop closed or some other severe consequences please let me know.
On a side note.
I am very happy with the Rims and I got a 2 inch drop. Made a huge difference.
