I'm not a big fan of adapters... can't you just return the wheels and get the right size?

Basically... the adapter would bolt on and have the new wheel studs on them.

You'd need to ensure that they were hubcentric to eliminate any possible vibration. Keep in mind that they're also essentially spacers, so your offset might end up being a bit wonky. They also cost about $50 each, so... you might be better off just getting wheels that will fit the car, rather than trying to make these fit.

Well... $50 each for four wheels... you do the math.

I've seen them on ebay also. Plus they push all 4 wheels out about 25 mm. Not sure how that's gonna work up front.
IMHO I feel you would be better off just getting a set of these wheels in the right pattern and having the tires transfered to them and just sell these to offset the cost of the right ones.
