So I have decided to take the wheels to the place I purchased them tomorrow to see if they will replace the wheels because there is no way that the clearcoat should be chipping off under a year of the wheels life. This must be a defect or something, especially from a well respected company.

Can't hurt to see what they say. I'd be raising holy heck about it till they either replaced them, offered other wheels in exchange or gave me a full refund. I'm surprised that Konig won't stand behind their product for atleast a year on the finish. That ain't right. Good luck and keep us updated Bro!

Ok, here is an update. The place I bought them from ordered them through a Tire Distribution company so we sent the wheels to them and I was over warranty. As you can guess, they did not replace the wheels and now I am trying to go from here on deciding what I should do. Does anyone know how to get the rest of the clear coat off and how much it would be to get them recoated? Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can always send them to a place that reconditions wheels but it may cost as much as another set.

Until I get the chance to recondition the wheels, how would you suggest taking care of them?
