Default Most comfortable tires...

I know everyone out there is looking for high preformance tires... but what about the casual commuter such as myself? We like to take the occasional road trip so I'm searching for a way to make the box as comfortable a ride as possible... I put in some Tien H-Tech's springs which have softened the ride considerably... what else should I do???

What size rims are ya thinking about? I have the H spring as well and I also am a commuter. What ever you do stay away from a 35 series tire....its a rubber band around a rim. If ya go with a 17" rim and a 40 tire the ride should be pretty nice ride is what I have herd.

I had Pirelli P7000 ( 235/40/18 ) tires on my old car and they road great. Quite ride and the tire was soft so you didn't feel every little rock, they will also give you great performance in rain or shine. I never hydro plained in thoes tires! Thats my opinion for best all around tire!

I was thinking about some 205/50/16 tires or, if I get the larger rims, go with 205/45/17... anybody have these size tires who would like to comment? Thanks everyone!

I would call Tirerack.com and talk to one of there techs ... they test almost every tire they sell and could tell you anything you needed to know ... They have done testing on the xB's ... I asked them about some tires already!

FYI, I would recommend you consider down sizing to a 14" wheel with a 185/65-14 tire. This fitment will increase the height of your sidewall for improved ride/noise comfort and offers a wide variety of tires to choose from in Passenger All-Season, Touring & Grand All-Season, and High Performance All-Season categories.

For more information on the products we have available for your vehicle please visit our site at http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=DJ1&...ires/index.jsp or feel free to contact me at 1-800-428-8355, Ext. 627.

Default Tires

I'm running Pirelli P6000 215/40R17 tires on a 17×7½ wheel with Eibach springs and it rides fine.
