I just bought some Tenzo R Passion 5 rims and i'm curious what kind of locking lug nuts should be used for these rims on a tC.

 

Although there are the JDM Bling Ray lug nuts, I suggest a set of McGard SplineDrive lug nuts. SummitRacing.com sells them for about 97 dollars shipped for 16 SplineDrive lugs and 4 locks in Chrome Black...

Yes but do your lug nuts save weight? I would look into a set of KYOKUGEN. They weigh in at .9oz & sale for $50. http://www.upgrademotoring.com/wheels/lugnuts.htm or any of the other styles of nuts on that site would be nice.

 

McGard SplineDrive lug nuts are 32 grams and the locks are 36 grams. Kyokugens are 26 grams. When it comes down to it, I'd rather still have my wheels than have my car on cinder blocks.

Also, as far as I know, Kyokugen lug nuts in black are backordered.

 

wow dude they're lugnuts... i dun think that their weight is gonna make much of a difference hahaha. plus i dun think the ones i have weigh as much as stock... but wow

 

I really like my rays, and since they are longer I like the look on my 5zigens. To each his own but they are nice. Kinda pricy at 119 but they look good.
