Default OFFSET QUESTION

Hello, I was curious to know if I go with a 18 x 7.5 rim is it better to go with a +42 or +40 offset. I'm not going to use shims and plan on lowering the car about 1.5". My main concern is rubbing.

Less offset means less chance of rubbing in the rear. You could actually get away with less than +35 and still tuck.

I have 18x7 wheels with 215/35/18 tires. The wheels are +40 and I am fine.

Anyone know iff a +30 or +25 would rub givien the above spcs?
