Default replacement tires

i bought an xb with the trd 18 inch wheel package . well just under 15k later its time for new tires. they came with the low pro pirelli tires which are really grippy but they dont last and you can feel every damb bump in the road. im looking to replace them with a low pro tire but not as low as the ones that came with the wheels, not to mention id like to fill the gap between the tire and the wheel well . i was thinking about lowering the car (coilovers) but then it doesnt solve the problem of the bumpy ride not to mention my wife drives the car and she is worried about clearance issues with parking curbs possibly having the bumper getting damaged. im just looking for a tire size that will work

FYI, our fitment team recommends 225/35R18 at 24.2 inches in diameter as an option to the 215/35R18's at 23.9 inches in diameter. Being taller, they will tend to improve the ride and fill the wheel well some, however, it's going the wrong way if you are going to lower the vehicle!

Remind your wife that it's a short car and you don't need to/shouldn't pull up until you make contact...
