I'll say again, STAY AWAY FROM MUTEKI'S.

The key WILL break on you, it's not an isolated incident.

I'd look into a good company such as McGard for lug nuts.

mcgard are hideous , so muteki's break eh ? wow. didn't know I heard they were the best........

Maybe yours was difected or something. I work for a shop and we sell tons of those and not one person has complained or had a problem. But McGard are the best lugs you can buy. Thats why high end wheels like Work use them for there lugs. My only problem with McGard are that they are expensive.

i found a flat black mcgard lock i was going to use with some other lugs. then agian i'm just debating having locks and say use two different types aka one spline and 3 internal , or three spline and one internal

I like the internal drive lugs. You wont scratch up your wheel when your trying to put them on or take them off.

the 962's luckily have largeish openings soo that much isnt too big of a problem.

hell, even google Muteki and you'll see alot of negative reviews. Mainly for their cheap quality, and how prone they are to fail on you.

i'm gonna hit up tognotis and pep boys tommorrow as well as americas tire and les schwab tires all in search of an aesthetically pleasing , durable , black , maybe locking , spinning seat style lug nuts . if they so do exist.

I have those Zenki ones in red. Work pretty well, but the anodization comes off easily when the air tools are used on em (dealership ect...) That may be more of an issue with my wheels because of thier design (partly recessed into the wheel...)

going with muteki for the win with the upgraded chrome key tool. using mcgard tuner wheel locks as well.

i'm getting short black anodized tire valves. yum.

I am running the muteki short splines. I love them they are small and do the job, no worries with mine at all!
