Default Volk "style" TE-37 Cup wheels

Anyone know anything about these rims? (<---click here)

They're not real Volks; that's all I know. I really like the looks. They're made in Japan, but that doesn't mean crap can't come from Japan ...

I can't find any information about these anywhere other than eBay, which makes me a bit leary of buying them.

"Manufacture has rated these wheels better than its competitor's; Volk Racing"

^^^ LMAO!!

it also says "TOM MOTORSPORT'S"... must be some guy named TOM that's running a motorsports shop in his garage. the real TOM's doesn't make a rim like that.

if you're content with just the looks and not about the brand name then go for it. i think someone else on the forums posted up their pics of a rim that looks like this though.

Yeah, I know the name is a rip off of TOM'S.

I'm not a person big on brand-names. However, I also don't want to buy crap. Yeah, the sales pitch is a bit hokey, but if they are decent wheels, I'd be willing to give them a shot. I'm also NOT willing to go into a $500 transaction blindly.

They have a website: http://www.tommotorsport.com/ but the wheels above are not on the Web site. I e-mailed them to ask them a few questions, though.

Except these are the "Cup" style with a bigger lip. I probably won't end up getting these, but I figured I'd ask.

If you do like the style, look at bsa 333s. They look IDENTICAL. Well, except for the titanium part.... I know because I have the BSAs. I really like 'em!
