Will it Rub
I'm looking at purchasing a set of ACE Radium wheels, 18x8, 42 offset, and running 215/40/18's.
I have Tanabe NF210's that gave around a 1.5" drop, other wise stock.
I want a full wheel well and I was going to go with 17's which would be approx. 0.1" larger, the 18" will be approx. 1.1" larger in diameter, both running 40's, I want a taller sde wall than a 35, so I'd prefer to run the 40's for look and ride.
Thanx in advance for the feedback Ya'll

The tire size is fine but the 8 inch width will be tight my 7.5's are 42MM offset and stop less than 1/16 of an inch from the rear axle torque arm so that dimension should be ok (tighter than I wanted so used a 5MM spacer)..not sure how tight the outside will be tho...pretty darn tight as the 7.5's with a 5MM spacer are tight enough for me. I am on bags and would have to fully roll the 1/4 panel lips if my wheels came out any more when I am down. The 18x8's should stick toward the outside about 8 MM more than my wheels. Might be just fine with down too a 2 inch drop with possible fender rolling and no spacers. I would assume that you would have to roll the fenders for the 8" or perhaps camber them in or both if you are very low.

I get a little rub with Tanabe DF210s but nothing a little rolling won't fix.
