Question xA tire size

I just hit 40K and its time for new tires. I replaced the stock ones and wheels with 205/55R16's. I would like to go up to 215/60R16's. Can I do that on the front without adding springs and raising the car? Will I get any rub in the wheel well when I turn the wheel? In fact, what is the tallest/widest tire I can use on the front? Thanks.

Why do u wanna go to a taller tire? 55 series tire should be plenty of cushion for a comfy ride.

Yeah... a 205/55R16 is pushing it, and a 215/60R16 is WAY too big.

Why exactly do you want to go with a larger tire? You're going to throw your speedometer/odometer off, hurt fuel economy, and run into rubbing issues.

I run a 205/50R16 which is 1% larger than the stock 185/60R15, and I still have rubbing issues on the front fender liners every now and again.
