Default xB 17" tire size??

Sorry if this is a double post. I am seeing alot of folks going to 205 40 17 tires, but all the tire places recommend 205 45 17. What does everyone here recommend? I haven't picked up my RS 2.0 yet, but I am already starting to buy parts for it.

Thanks

Sean

215-40-17 is the size you want. It is the same diameter as stock. 205-40's are shorter, 205-45's are a little taller. There are not as many choices in 205-45 as 215-40. Go with 215-40's!!!

Either a 215/40/17 for a stock look, or if you want to fill up the fender gap some more then go with a 215/45/17.

Toydriver00, I'm running 215/40/17's and I love that set up. Im dropped on Gold-Lines, about a 2" drop, and have no rubbing issues. Check the link under my signature at the bottom of my post for pics.

215/45/17 Falken ST-115 on an 8 and 9 inch wheel. Makes for a nice stretch.
