Ok, so now that spring is here, the bugs in NC are out in full force.

I need to get a bug shield/deflector that won't look too horrible on my wife's Envy Green xB. So a nice smoked/black guard would probably work.

Anyone know of a place to get a decent shield that actually will work in preventing a million bug guts splattered all over the windshield?

Not sure what the big difference is in them...the Lund looks like it has more of a lip.

Just curious what everyone thinks of these kinds of shields...do they actually help?

I had a lund deflector.

It just makes the bug hit futher up on the windshield.

Also at highway speeds, the windshield washer fluid would fly all over the place, BUT my windshield.

Also, wind noise increased.

 

hmmm...still debating whether or not these are worth it.

I know one thing...it's only been a few days since the bugs really came out and already I've had to wipe the glass a couple times a day when driving all over the place because this car seems to be a magnet for massive bugs.

 

Anyone else?
