Ok......I have been told by a specific japanese manufacture reps that a lip for a bB will not fit our US spec xB bumper, however i've looked that the bumpers side by side, and atleast in pictures, i really dont see the difference.

Has anyone had any experience with this at all? To figure out whethere or not there is differences?

 

usa spec bumpers are deeper... the jdm ones don't have a large metal bumper behind it like ours. so if you got a jdm lip you'd have to extend it back more.

 

ahhh ok, thanks..... that's really not that difficult then....something i might look into, if i opt not to wait for them to bring a US version.

 

which kit did you decide on?

 

I'm tossing up several ideas at the moment, i would kind of like to stick to a lip kit, but its looking more like im just going to do full bumpers.

 

I'm not sure which bumper you are referring to but recently I bought a rear bumper protector and Toyota of Japan informed me that there are two different rear bumpers for the bB. One has a larger lip then the other. I also have a JDM front lip on my xB. I had no troubles putting it on.
